Crowd Room Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy · Terms of Use · Support

Effective and last updated: October 28, 2026

Crowd Room is a speaking-practice app for Apple Vision Pro, provided by Jimi Olaoya, trading as Zecro Studios. This policy explains the current app's data use and your choices. No account is required.

Your speech stays on your device

With your permission, Crowd Room uses microphone input for speech capture, audience attention, an input meter, speech measurements and optional voice amplification. Speech recognition runs on your device. Transcripts, speech measurements and audience answers are processed in memory for the current practice session; they are not uploaded to Zecro Studios or a remote speech or AI service. The app does not save microphone recordings to an audio file or provide a recording library.

AI questions, feedback and guest voices

When available, Apple Intelligence generates audience questions and practice feedback on your device. Basic questions are available when AI generation is unavailable. Guest speech is synthesized locally using bundled voice models. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect.

Information saved locally

The app saves your entered practice notes, preferences, practice points, last practice duration and a coaching focus you choose to practise again. These remain in the app's local storage; Zecro Studios does not receive them. A generated coaching focus may refer to the content of your talk. Local data may be included in device backups according to your Apple settings.

Room sensing and placement

The current release uses virtual venues; AR audience placement in your physical room is not available. Headset tracking supports the immersive view and speaker-facing audience behavior. This spatial information is used locally and is not uploaded to Zecro Studios. The app retains a world-sensing permission description for experimental AR development, but the current virtual-room experience does not require floor sensing.

Text examples and external links

Speaking examples are built-in text. Crowd Room does not embed videos or load YouTube players. Privacy, terms and support links open outside the practice experience; the destination's own privacy practices apply when you choose to open a link.

Advertising, analytics and tracking

Crowd Room does not collect practice data off your device and does not include advertising, analytics services or cross-app tracking. Apple handles App Store downloads, purchases if applicable, backups and optional platform diagnostics under its own terms and privacy choices.

Permissions and deletion

You can change microphone, speech-recognition and world-sensing permissions in visionOS Settings. If speech capture is unavailable, you can choose timer-only practice. You can edit or clear your notes in the app. To remove all saved Crowd Room data, delete the app and its data from your device, and manage any retained backups separately in your Apple settings. Zecro Studios cannot retrieve or remotely delete data held only on your device.

Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to send. We use this to respond and resolve the request, retaining it only as needed for support and applicable record-keeping obligations. Do not include private speech transcripts or recordings unless you want to share them. You can ask us to delete support correspondence by emailing the address below, subject to any retention obligations.

Changes and contact

We will update this page when the app's data practices change and show the revised date above. For privacy questions or support-data requests, contact jimjatt1999@gmail.com.
